Chef Nam Cooking Class
🕒 Every day at 10:00, 15:00 or 17:00. Cook together, then eat together.
Nam is a professionally trained chef, and that changes what you take home. You do not just follow along: he shows you why the oil has to be that hot, how thin the rice paper should be, and what to do when a sauce is too sweet. Two hours later you have cooked a full Vietnamese meal, and you sit down and eat it.
The class is at Tam Coc Amanda Villas, a few minutes from Tam Coc village, so it fits easily into a day of boat trips and cycling. Any day, at 10:00, 15:00 or 17:00.
You pick your menu when you book: vegetarian, meat, fish, or meat and fish. Every menu starts with spring rolls, because that is what everybody wants to learn, and ends with you at the table with what you made.
Groups are up to fifteen people, so it works just as well for a couple as for a family or a group of friends. Tell us about allergies or things you do not eat when you book, and Nam cooks around it.

Menus are a guide: dishes and ingredients can differ a little with the season and with what is fresh and available at the market that day. Nam shops at the market on the morning of your class. Tell us about allergies or anything you do not eat when you book, and he will cook around it.
No pork or no seafood? Your host makes the same menu with chicken or beef instead, and leaves out seafood. Vegetarian and allergies are no problem either. Just write it in the note when you book.
Price is per person. Drinks are not included. The price includes everything: you pay when you book and nothing on the day.
